A RETURN TO NATURE
My work on a local organic farm and taught me about Restoration Agriculture. It has me daydreaming of returning the suburban lawn back to Mother Nature by eliminating the traditional grass lawn as much as possible. We can achieve this by:
- Replacing grass with alternate ground cover
- Reducing the area of traditional grass and replacing it with gardens that can grow food and/or attract pollinators.
- Rethink and redesign your space to reflect your vision for a more sustainable lawn
I use STIHL electric equipment as I am focused on reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
I am looking for like minds to help reduce the amount of resource hungry grass yards. We will look at alternative ground cover along with the designing minimal maintenance gardens that will attract pollinators and/or grow crops.
